Seasonal feeds, weed control and moss control on a planned programme. Applied at the right time of year, at the right rate.
A single application will green a lawn up for a few weeks. What actually changes a lawn is a sequence of treatments through the year: feed when the grass can use it, control weeds while they are actively growing, and deal with moss when conditions favour it rather than when it happens to be noticed.
We visit through the season, check the lawn each time, and apply what it needs at that point. If a lawn does not need feeding on a given visit, we say so.
Spring and summer feeds for growth and colour, autumn feeds to harden the grass for winter.
Treatments that target broadleaf weeds such as dandelion, daisy and clover while leaving the grass unharmed.
Moss treated at the surface, plus advice on the shade, drainage or compaction letting it back in.
Red thread, fusarium and dry patch identified early, with the cause explained rather than just treated.
Leatherjacket and chafer grub damage checked for when the symptoms suggest it.
A record of what was applied and what to expect, left after every visit.
Where the underlying problem is physical rather than nutritional, we will tell you, and point you at scarifying and aeration or lawn renovation instead of selling more feed.
